Each day blends classroom-style instruction, engaging demonstrations, and real-world practice. Under Cesar’s guidance, you’ll gain deep insights into self-reflection and leadership, helping you become a calm, confident Pack Leader.

A limited number of spots are available for students bringing a personal dog to Fundamentals 1. All dogs must pass a screening process for suitability.
Not bringing a dog? No problem! Every student gets hands-on experience working with a carefully selected “loaner” dog—a mix of rescue dogs from local LA shelters and pack dogs from the ranch.
Important: This workshop focuses on fundamental training and leadership, not rehabilitation. To ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants, dogs displaying aggression toward people or other dogs will not be accepted.
- Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 or older.
- Physical Requirements: This course involves walking on varied terrains, agility exercises, and hands-on work with dogs. Please ensure you are physically capable of participating.
- Special Accommodations: If you have specific needs, please contact us before registering.
- Sessions typically run from 7 AM to 4 PM (exact times provided during orientation).
- The schedule includes classroom instruction and hands-on training.
- Adjustments may be made based on weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- A limited number of spots are available for students who wish to bring their dog.
- If you do not bring a dog, one will be provided for you to work with during the course.
- Requests to switch dogs will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- No dog change requests will be allowed within 1 week of the start of the workshop.
- All dogs must go through the standard approval process and provide updated health records.
- Required vaccinations include rabies, Bordetella, DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). H3N8 inoculation and a negative fecal test may also be required.
- Proof of vaccination, stamped by your vet, is required before attending the course.
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered.
- Instructions for submitting vaccination records will be provided after registration.Note: Health requirements are subject to change at our discretion.
- If a dog displays excessive behavioral issues that disrupt the workshop or pose safety concerns, we may ask for the dog to be removed.
- We will do our best to support you and ensure a positive learning experience. While we strive to support every participant, Fundamentals 1 is not a rehabilitation program. The focus is on teaching you Pack Leader skills and improving your relationship with your dog. If a dog exhibits excessive behavior issues that disrupt the workshop or pose safety concerns, we may ask for the dog to be removed. In such cases, we will do our best to work with you to ensure a positive experience for both you and your dog.
- Full Refunds: Available within 24 hours of booking.
- Dog Approval: If your dog is not approved, you have 24 hours from notification to cancel for a full refund. If you do not cancel within this period, your attendance will be confirmed without your dog, and the standard policy will apply.
- Partial Refunds: Cancellations made after 24 hours and up to 30 days before the course will be refunded at 50%, minus a 10% processing fee.
- No Refunds: No refunds are for cancellations within 30 days of the course start date or for no-shows.
- No Transfers: Course transfers are not allowed.
- Refund Processing: Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear
- Cesar’s Way, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason, including insufficient signups, force majeure, natural disasters, or reasons beyond our control.
- In such cases, a full refund will be issued, releasing Cesar’s Way, Inc. from further financial liability.
- The financial responsibility of Cesar’s Way, Inc. is limited to the amount paid for the course and does not cover any travel or other expenses (e.g., non-refundable air tickets, visa fees, hotel accommodations, trip insurance).
- We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance that covers the course fees.
